Insulated End Cutting Pliers

APPLICATION

The cutting pliers is used in live work up to 1000 V AC or up to 1500 V DC, at switchgear devices, cable lines and overhead lines. The cutting pliers is designed for cutting single and multi-conductor wires (Al, Cu) of cross-sections up to 16 mm2 and steel wires with a cross-section up to 5 mm2.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Store and transport the cutting pliers in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the cutting pliers in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The cutting pliers should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If it is very dirty, clean the cutting pliers with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent or with a cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry it thoroughly.
