“WHERE DOES ELECTRICITY COME FROM?”
§1. General provisions
1. The organiser of the competition “Where Does Electricity Come From?”, hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”, is HUBIX Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Główna 43, 96-321 Żabia Wola – Huta Żabiowolska, Poland, entered in the Register of . Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000500184, NIP 5291803171, hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”.
2. The Competition is organised as part of HUBIX brand communication on social media, in particular on the Organiser’s profiles on:TikTok,
Instagram,
Facebook,
YouTube.
3. The Competition is creative and promotional in nature. Participants are required to prepare a short video answering the question: “Where does electricity come from?”
4. The Competition is not a lottery, gambling game or betting activity. The winners will be selected by the Organiser based on the creativity and originality of the submitted entries.
5. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube.
§2. Competition period
1. The Competition starts on 15 September 2026.
2. Entries may be submitted until 30 September 2026, inclusive, until the end of the day.
3. The results of the Competition will be announced on 20 October 2026 via the Organiser’s social media profiles/channels and/or by private message to the winners.
§3. Competition participants
1. A participant in the Competition may be any individual who:
a) is at least 18 years old,
b) has an account on the platform through which they submit their entry,
c) has read and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Minors may participate in the Competition only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
3. Employees of the Organiser, members of its governing bodies, persons directly involved in preparing the Competition and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
4. Each participant may submit a maximum of one competition entry.
§4. Competition task and submission process
1. The competition task is to record an original video that answers the question:
“Where does electricity come from?”
The answer may be presented in a creative, humorous or original way.
2. The video may present any original interpretation of the topic. The Organiser encourages unconventional ideas, a sense of humour and a creative approach.
3. To enter the Competition, the participant must:
a) record their own competition video,
b) submit the video to the Organiser via b) submit the video to the Organiser by one of the following means: via private message to a HUBIX profile, by posting a comment on one of the HUBIX profiles, or by sending it to the following email address: marketing@hubix.pl
c) provide their name or profile name in the submission,
d) accept these Terms and Conditions.
4. The video must be the participant’s own work and must not infringe any copyrights, image rights, personal rights or other rights of third parties.
5. The video may be recorded using any technology, provided that it can be played by the Organiser.
6. Entries submitted after the deadline specified in §2(2) will not be considered.
7. The Organiser may reject an entry if the video:
a) does not relate to the subject of the Competition,
b) contains unlawful, offensive, vulgar, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate content,
c) encourages violence or the undertaking of dangerous activities,
d) infringes the rights of third parties,
e) contains advertising content relating to other entities without the Organiser’s consent,
f) violates the rules of social media platforms,
g) has been copied or is not the participant’s original work.
8. Participants should not record or present activities that pose a risk to health or life, particularly activities involving electrical installations, live electrical equipment or other dangerous actions.
§5. Selection of winners
1. The Organiser will select four winners of the Competition.
2. The Organiser will take the following criteria into consideration when selecting the winners:
a) creativity of the idea,
b) originality of the entry,
c) sense of humour,
d) the way in which the answer to the competition question is presented,
e) compliance of the video with the subject of the Competition,
f) overall appeal and creativity of the material.
3. The Organiser will select the winners at its own independent discretion.
4. If entries are considered to be of a similar level, the Organiser may take additional criteria into account, in particular the originality of execution and the creativity of the way in which the idea is presented.
5. The Organiser may decide not to award a prize if none of the entries meets the requirements of these Terms and Conditions or demonstrates a sufficient level of creativity.
§6. Prizes
1. The prizes in the Competition are four shopping vouchers for the HUBIX online store, each worth PLN 300 gross.
2. Each of the four winners will receive one voucher worth PLN 300.
3. The voucher may be used in the HUBIX online store available at https://hubix.pl, in accordance with the terms of use specified by the Organiser.
4. The voucher:
a) cannot be exchanged for cash,
b) cannot be resold,
c) may only be used during its validity period,
d) cannot be exchanged for another prize.
5. The Organiser will contact the winners via private message on the profile from which the entry was submitted or via the contact details provided to the Organiser.
6. The winner must provide the Organiser with the information necessary to send or deliver the voucher within 7 days of receiving the notification of winning.
7. If the winner fails to respond within the period specified in section 6, the Organiser may select another winner.
§7. Rights to competition entries
1. The participant declares that the submitted video is their own work and that they hold all rights necessary to submit it to the Competition.
2. If other people appear in the video, the participant is required to obtain their consent to the recording and use of their image to the extent necessary for participation in the Competition and publication of the video.
3. The participant grants the Organiser a free-of-charge, non-exclusive licence to use the submitted video for purposes related to the Competition and HUBIX brand communication.
4. The licence includes, in particular, the right to:
a) publish the video on the Organiser’s social media channels,
b) publish the video on the Organiser’s website,
c) share the video through the Organiser’s communication channels,
d) use the video in HUBIX promotional and marketing materials,
e) publicly perform and display the video,
f) technically adapt the video to the requirements of a particular channel, including changing its format, shortening the material, adding subtitles, tags or HUBIX visual identity elements.
5. The licence is granted indefinitely, without territorial restrictions, for the fields of use specified in section 4.
6. The Organiser is not obliged to publish every submitted entry.
§8. Personal data
1. The controller of the participants’ personal data is HUBIX Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Główna 43, 96-321 Żabia Wola – Huta Żabiowolska, Poland.
2. Participants’ personal data will be processed for the purposes of:
a) conducting the Competition,
b) contacting participants and winners,
c) delivering the prizes,
d) handling potential complaints,
e) fulfilling the Organiser’s legal obligations.
3. Providing personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary to participate in the Competition and receive the prize.
4. Detailed information regarding the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy at https://hubix.pl.
§9. Complaints
1. Complaints concerning the Competition may be submitted to the following email address: marketing@hubix.pl.
2. A complaint should include:
a) the participant’s name and surname or profile name,
b) a description of the issue,
c) the grounds for the complaint.
3. Complaints will be considered within 14 days of receipt.
4. The response to a complaint will be sent to the email address provided by the participant.
§10. Final provisions
1. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Organiser shall not be liable for technical problems on the part of social media platforms, internet service providers or participants’ devices.
4. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube.
5. These Terms and Conditions are available on the Organiser’s website.
6. Matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Polish law.
7. The Organiser may amend these Terms and Conditions, provided that such amendments do not affect the rights already acquired by participants. Information about any amendments will be published where these Terms and Conditions are made available.
