Fully insulated side cutters are used for work with alternating current up to 1000 V or direct current up to 1500 V, on distribution equipment and cable lines. Used as a universal assembly tool for cutting wires (Al and Cu) with cross-sections up to 10 mm² and steel wires with cross-sections up to 5 mm². The insulated working head of the pliers allows for safe use in places where the distances between elements with different potentials are small.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store and transport the cutting nipper in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the cutting nipper in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The cutting nipper should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If it is very dirty, clean the cutting nipper with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent or with a cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry it thoroughly.
