Insulated cutters are designed for cutting wires or cable cores (Al, Cu). The cutters are made of tool steel with hardened blades. A key feature is the insulation that covers the handles, providing protection against electric shock in the event of live components during live working. This insulation meets the requirements of IEC 60900 for, among other things, rated voltages such as 1000 VAC and 1500 VDC, ensuring safety during electrical tasks.
APPLICATION
Cutters used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC., on distribution equipment, cable lines and overhead lines. The cutters are designed for cutting wires or strands of cables (Al, Cu) of diameter up to 9 mm.
NOTICE! Do not cut ACSR and steel.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store and transport the cutter in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the cutter in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The cutter should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If it is very dirty, clean the cutter with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent or with a cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry it thoroughly.
