Hybrid Stripping Knife

APPLICATION

The knifes are used in live work up to 1000 V AC or up to 1500 V DC. The knife is used on overhead lines and on cable lines and switchgear connecting boxes. The knife is designed for stripping wires and cables and their overall treatment.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

The knifes should be stored and transported in a bag or toolbox separately from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Protect the knife blade with a protective cover. Store the knifes in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect against sunlight. The knife should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. When the tool becomes heavily soiled, use a cloth with ASOREL or suitable cleaning solvent and dry it thoroughly. When cleaning the blade, use extreme caution to avoid injury.
