Fully insulated semi-circular pliers used for work with alternating current up to 1000 V or direct current up to 1500 V, on distribution equipment and cable lines. The pliers are designed for holding, squeezing, and shaping various types of elements, as well as cutting wires (Al and Cu). The insulated working head of the pliers allows for their safe use in places where the distances between elements with different potentials are small.
APPLICATION
The pliers are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC, on switchgear devices and cable lines. Pliers are designed for holding, squeezing and also shaping various types of elements and cutting wires (Al and Cu). The insulated working head of the pliers enables safe use, where the distances between parts with different potentials are small.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store and transport the pliers in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the pliers in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The pliers should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If it is very dirty, clean the pliers with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent or with a cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry it thoroughly.
