Side cutters for cutting wire with insulated working part are used for work under voltage up to 1000V AC or 1500V DC. The cutters are used for cutting wires (Al, Cu, Fe) with cross-sections up to 10 mm² in distribution equipment, cable lines, and overhead lines.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Pliers should be stored and transported in a bag or toolbox separately from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. The pliers should be stored in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Use a dry cloth to clean the tool. If the tool is heavily soiled, clean it with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent or a cloth moistened with ASOREL, then dry thoroughly.
