The mount is equipped with four splined ends manufactured in accordance with IEC 60832-2. Two of these, located at the top and bottom of the mount, are designed for mounting the mount to the rod and the camera to the mount (via an extension cable or directly). The other two, located on the sides, allow for mounting the mount's arms. The tool is made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide and polyoxymethylene. Six-arm thumbscrews secure the camera and arms to the mount.
The mount is designed to support a camera mounted on a rod on a medium-voltage line to stabilize the camera and improve user ergonomics. The movable arms of the mount allow for precise adjustment of the mount to a comfortable position for the operator.
