Insulated socket designed for use in electrical installations. Manufactured from high-quality chrome vanadium steel (CrV), offering excellent mechanical strength and wear resistance. The working head features a TORX profile, intended for tightening and loosening screws with a corresponding socket head.
The socket includes a standard ½” square drive, compatible with handles, torque wrenches, ratchets, extensions, and other tools equipped with a ½” square connector.
The insulation is made of durable plastisol (PVC), applied using a dip-coating process. The tool features dual-layer insulation in contrasting colors: an inner white layer and an outer orange layer. Each insulation layer has a minimum thickness of 1 mm, ensuring a high level of user safety.
The socket is designed for work under alternating current (AC) voltage up to 1000 V or direct current (DC) voltage up to 1500 V, in accordance with standards for insulated tools. Custom sizes are available upon request.
Application: For tightening and loosening TORX-head screws in electrical installations, where protection against electric shock is required.
