The Insulating Wire End Cap Ø60 mm provides dependable electrical insulation and mechanical protection for exposed cable and conductor ends in low voltage systems. Developed for professional utility and industrial environments, it supports safe installation, maintenance and service operations.
Manufactured from durable and flexible EVA copolymer, the cap ensures secure coverage of medium-to-large cross-section conductors while allowing quick and tool-free installation. Its high-visibility red colour improves safety on site and reduces the risk of accidental contact.
Rated up to 1 kV AC / 1.5 kV DC and compliant with EN 61479 (Class 0), the Ø60 mm end cap meets the requirements of modern power distribution networks. It is widely used as a protective insulation solution and as part of professional Live Working equipment systems.
The Ø60 mm size is suitable for larger cable diameters requiring reliable insulation clearance combined with flexible handling.
Custom dimensions are available upon request.
APPLICATION
Flexible end caps are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. The covers are designed to protect the ends of wires and cables at switchgear devices, cable lines and overhead lines.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store end caps in a manner that prevents compression, bending or mechanical damage. Store the end caps in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. It is recommended to store at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C. End caps should be cleaned after each use. For cleaning use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent. After cleaning, dry the end caps thoroughly at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C.
