The Insulating Wire End Cap Ø5 mm is designed for safe insulation of small-diameter conductors in low voltage installations. It is particularly suitable for internal power supply lines (WLZ systems), electricity meter installations and meter replacement works.
Manufactured from flexible and durable EVA copolymer, the cap provides reliable electrical insulation and mechanical protection of exposed conductor ends during installation and service operations. Its compact size ensures precise fit on smaller cross-section wires commonly used in building installations.
Rated up to 1 kV AC / 1.5 kV DC and compliant with EN 61479 (Class 0), the Ø5 mm end cap supports safe working practices in residential, commercial and utility metering environments.
The Ø5 mm version is ideal for electricians performing installation work, maintenance and energy meter replacement where secure temporary insulation of conductors is required.
Custom dimensions are available upon request.
APPLICATION
Flexible end caps are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. The covers are designed to protect the ends of wires and cables at switchgear devices, cable lines and overhead lines.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store end caps in a manner that prevents compression, bending or mechanical damage. Store the end caps in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. It is recommended to store at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C. End caps should be cleaned after each use. For cleaning use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent. After cleaning, dry the end caps thoroughly at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C.
