APPLICATION

Covers are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. The covers are intended for insulating sections of bare or insulated wires with damaged insulation, most often bridges, during live work on overhead lines.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Store covers in a manner that prevents compression, bending or mechanical damage. Store the covers in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. It is recommended to store at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C. The covers should be cleaned after each use. For cleaning use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent. After cleaning, dry the covers thoroughly at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C. In case of heavy soiling, the use of ASOREL is recommended for cleaning. Perform cleaning with the preparation in an open area or in a ventilated room. Use talcum powder to preserve the covers.
