TRANEMO Tera TX Flame Retardant Stretch Trousers 602281 are professional protective trousers designed for demanding working environments where a combination of flame retardant protection, stretch comfort, freedom of movement and protection against the thermal hazards of electric arc is required. The trousers are made from inherently flame retardant Tera TX fabric with a weight of 260 g/m², combined with elastic stretch zones providing excellent freedom of movement and wearer comfort. The trousers provide protection against flame, heat, electric arc and static electricity. Electric arc protection is rated APC 1, with an ELIM of 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT of 8.7 cal/cm².

Stretch comfort and freedom of movement: The stretch construction is designed for professionals who frequently walk, kneel, bend, crouch or perform dynamic movements during work. Elastic zones allow the trousers to follow the wearer's movements, reducing restriction and improving comfort during long working days.

Functional construction: The trousers feature a practical pocket system for convenient storage of essential equipment. Features include side pockets, cargo pocket with flap, mobile phone pocket, ruler pocket and back pockets with flaps. The cargo pocket features a concealed D-ring. The trousers also include kneepad pockets and adjustable leg width.

Protection against flame and heat: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties, which are an integral characteristic of the fibres used. The protection is not achieved solely through a surface treatment.

Electric arc protection: The product meets the requirements of EN 61482-2 at APC 1. Testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019 achieves an ELIM of 8.1 cal/cm² and an EBT of 8.7 cal/cm². The trousers are designed for use as part of protective clothing in environments where exposure to the thermal hazards of electric arc may occur.

Antistatic properties: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric has also been tested according to EN 1149-3. The antistatic fibre helps limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges.

Welding protection: Tera TX fabric meets the requirements of EN ISO 11611 Class 1 for protective clothing used during welding and allied processes.

Chemical protection: The fabric has been tested according to EN 13034 for protection against limited amounts of liquid chemicals.

Main fabric: 811: Tera TX – 45% modacrylic / 35% cotton / 18% polyamide / 2% antistatic fibre, 260 g/m². Tera TX is an inherently flame retardant fabric with a pleasant feel. Extra reinforced yarn provides good tear resistance while maintaining a relatively low fabric weight.

Stretch fabric: 852: FR Stretch – 78% aramid / 20% elastic fibre / 2% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². An inherently flame retardant, highly elastic fabric providing increased freedom of movement and comfort during work. The strategic use of elastic fabric allows the trousers to follow the wearer's movements more naturally.

Reinforcement fabric: 804: HTFR Dobby – 39% modacrylic / 28% polyamide / 17% cotton / 15% aramid / 1% antistatic fibre, 295 g/m². An inherently flame retardant reinforcement fabric used in areas exposed to increased wear, including the kneepad pockets and lower legs.

Permanent flame retardant protection: The flame retardant properties of the materials are inherent and form an integral part of the fibres used. They are not achieved solely through a surface treatment and do not wash out during laundering.

Tear resistance: Tera TX uses extra reinforced yarn to provide good tear resistance while maintaining a relatively low fabric weight of 260 g/m².

UV protection: Tera TX provides UPF 50+ according to EN 13758-1.

PFAS-free: The fabrics used feature a PFAS-free finish.

Industrial laundering: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 15797 for industrial laundering and finishing procedures. The product is suitable for 50 industrial wash cycles.

Applications: TRANEMO 602281 trousers are designed for electricians, electrical technicians, energy workers, maintenance personnel, service technicians, installers and industrial and technical workers. They are particularly suitable where a combination of flame retardant protection, electric arc protection and the comfort provided by stretch construction is required.

Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1, EN 61482-2 APC 1, EN 1149-5 and EN ISO 15797. The fabric has also been tested according to EN ISO 11611 Class 1, EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, EN 1149-3, EN 13034 and EN 13758-1 UPF 50+.

Sizes: C44–C64, C146–C156, D80–D120.

Care: Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Do not dry clean.
