Increased visibility: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 20471, Class 1 for high visibility clothing. Fluorescent materials increase wearer visibility in the workplace and in environments where additional visibility is required.
Protection against flame and heat: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabrics used provide inherent flame retardant properties, ensuring durable protection without relying solely on a surface flame retardant finish.
Electric arc protection: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 61482-2, APC 1. They achieve an electric arc protection level of ELIM 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT 8.7 cal/cm² against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Antistatic properties: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The antistatic fibres help limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges and allow the trousers to be used as part of a properly selected protective clothing system.
Fabrics: Tera TX – 45% modacrylic / 35% cotton / 18% polyamide / 2% antistatic fibre, 260 g/m². FR Stretch – 78% aramid / 20% elastic fibre / 2% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². HTFR Dobby – 39% modacrylic / 28% polyamide / 17% cotton / 15% aramid / 1% antistatic fibre, 295 g/m².
FR Stretch fabric: The elastic FR Stretch fabric provides high elasticity and freedom of movement. Stretch zones in key areas improve fit and comfort when kneeling, bending and performing dynamic movements.
HTFR Dobby reinforcements: Durable HTFR Dobby fabric is used in areas particularly exposed to wear, including the kneepad pocket area and back hems. It provides additional durability during intensive work.
Chemical protection: The Tera TX fabric meets the requirements of EN 13034 for limited protection against liquid chemicals. To maintain the chemical protection properties after washing, the garment must be re-impregnated according to the manufacturer's instructions.
UV protection: The Tera TX fabric meets the requirements of EN 13758-1 and provides UPF 50+ protection.
Industrial laundering: The trousers are suitable for industrial laundering according to EN ISO 15797. The product retains its declared properties for 50 wash cycles.
Additional fabric test results: The Tera TX fabric has been tested according to, among others, EN ISO 11611 Class 1, EN 61482-1-2:2014 APC 1, EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506. The FR Stretch fabric achieves ELIM 10 cal/cm² and ATPV 11 cal/cm² in electric arc testing. The HTFR Dobby fabric meets, among others, the requirements of EN ISO 11611 Class 1.
PFAS-free: The fabrics used have a PFAS-free finish.
Tranemo Skinsafe: The trousers are part of the Tranemo Skinsafe multi-layer system designed to provide protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment and is OEKO-TEX certified.
Care: Wash at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at temperatures up to 150°C. Do not dry clean.
