Flame retardant high visibility sweatshirt with a round neck, made from durable and comfortable Cantex Terry fabric with a weight of 290 g/m². The sweatshirt provides inherent, permanent flame retardant properties, antistatic properties and protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc. Fluorescent fabric and heat-sealed reflective stripes provide increased wearer visibility. The product features a non-metal construction and is made from PFAS-free fabric, with 50% of the cotton content coming from recycled cotton.

Increased visibility: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 20471, Class 2 for high visibility clothing. When used in an approved certified combination with other Tranemo garments, it can form part of a Class 3 high visibility system. For size XS, Class 3 is achieved when worn together with Tranemo trousers or bib 'n' brace certified according to EN ISO 20471 Class 2. For sizes S–4XL, Class 3 is achieved when worn together with suitable Tranemo trousers or bib 'n' brace certified according to EN ISO 20471 Class 1 or 2.
Protection against flame and heat: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C2 F2 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabric provides permanent inherent flame retardant properties that cannot be washed out.
Electric arc protection: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN 61482-2, APC 1. It achieves an electric arc protection level of ELIM 8.6 cal/cm² and EBT 11.0 cal/cm² against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Antistatic properties: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The antistatic fibres help limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
UV protection: The product meets the requirements of EN 13758-2 for clothing providing protection against ultraviolet radiation. The Cantex Terry fabric provides UPF 50+ protection.
Fabric: Cantex Terry – 60% modacrylic / 19% recycled cotton / 19% cotton / 2% antistatic fibre, 290 g/m². The knitted fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties and is PFAS-free.
Wearer comfort: The knitted construction, round neck, elastic cuffs and waistband provide a comfortable fit during extended periods of work. Heat-sealed reflective stripes are more flexible than traditional sewn-on reflective tape, improving comfort and freedom of movement.
PFAS-free: The fabric used in the sweatshirt is PFAS-free.
Recycled cotton: The fabric contains 19% recycled cotton, representing 50% of the total cotton content in the fabric.
Tranemo Skinsafe: The sweatshirt is part of the Tranemo Skinsafe multi-layer system designed to provide a high level of protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment and is OEKO-TEX certified.
Care: Wash at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at temperatures up to 150°C. Do not dry clean.
