The tool is designed to remove icing from cables on medium voltage overhead power lines.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

The tool should be stored in a case or suitcase made of waterproof material in a way that protects them against mechanical damage. The tool should be stored in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight.  The tool should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, remove dirt with a cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly.
