Flame retardant work trousers with high visibility, made from Tera TX fabric with elasticated zones in FR Stretch fabric. The combination of flame retardant and stretch materials provides a high level of protection, excellent freedom of movement and comfort during work. The trousers are designed for work environments where protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc is required, together with increased visibility. The fabrics provide permanent inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties. The garment is made with a PFAS-free finish.

High visibility: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 20471, Class 1 for high visibility clothing.
Protection: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protection against heat and flame and EN 61482-2, APC 1, for protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The garment also meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties.
Electric arc protection: The trousers achieve an electric arc protection level of ELIM 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT 8.7 cal/cm² according to EN IEC 61482-1-1. The garment meets the requirements of APC 1 according to EN 61482-2.
Fabrics: Tera TX – 45% modacrylic / 35% cotton / 18% polyamide / 2% antistatic fibre, 260 g/m². Stretch zones are made from FR Stretch – 78% aramid / 20% elastic fibre / 2% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². Reinforcements are made from HTFR Dobby – 39% modacrylic / 28% polyamide / 17% cotton / 15% aramid / 1% antistatic fibre, 295 g/m². The fabrics provide inherent flame retardant properties and the finish is PFAS-free.
Durability: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 15797 for industrial laundering and have been tested for 50 washes.
Tranemo Skinsafe: The trousers can be used as part of a properly selected Tranemo Skinsafe multi-layer protective system against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Care: Wash at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at temperatures up to 150°C. Do not dry clean.
