Inherently flame retardant sweatshirt with increased visibility, made from soft and comfortable Cantex Terry fabric with a weight of 290 g/m². The fabric provides permanent inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties that cannot be washed out. The sweatshirt is designed for work environments where protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc is required. Fluorescent fabric elements and heat-sealed reflective stripes increase wearer visibility during work. The garment is made from PFAS-free fabric, with 19% of the composition consisting of recycled cotton.

Features and construction:
  Round neck with ribbed finish.
  Ribbed cuffs for a secure and comfortable fit.
  Ribbed waistband at the bottom of the sweatshirt.
  Heat-sealed reflective stripes for increased visibility and wearer comfort.
  Soft sweatshirt tricot with ring-spun reverse for increased comfort.
  Non-metal construction.

The sweatshirt is available in the following sizes:
  XXS–4XL

Protection: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C2 F2 for protection against heat and flame and EN 61482-2, APC 1, for protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The garment also meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties.

Electric arc protection: The sweatshirt achieves an electric arc protection level of ELIM 8.6 cal/cm² and EBT 11.0 cal/cm². The garment meets the requirements of APC 1 according to EN 61482-2.

Increased visibility: Fluorescent variants of the Cantex Terry fabric meet the requirements of EN ISO 20471 for materials used in high visibility clothing. Heat-sealed reflective stripes provide additional wearer visibility.

UV protection: The sweatshirt meets the requirements of EN 13758-2 for clothing providing protection against UV radiation. The fabric provides a protection level of UPF 50+.

Fabric: Cantex Terry – 60% modacrylic / 19% recycled cotton / 19% cotton / 2% antistatic fibre, 290 g/m². The fabric provides inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties and is PFAS-free.

Tranemo Skinsafe: The sweatshirt can be used as part of a properly selected Tranemo Skinsafe multi-layer protective system against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc.

Care: Wash at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at temperatures up to 150°C. Do not dry clean.
