Flame retardant long sleeve T-shirt made from lightweight and soft Cantex Jersey AT fabric with a weight of 180 g/m². Model 594789 combines inherent and permanent flame retardant properties with protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc and antistatic properties. The product has a non-metal construction and is made from PFAS-free fabric. The soft single jersey construction provides comfort during extended periods of wear.

The T-shirt is available in the following sizes:
  XS–4XL

Protection against flame and heat: The T-shirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties that are an integral part of the fibres and cannot be washed out.

Electric arc protection: The product meets the requirements of EN 61482-2, APC 1, for protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. In fabric testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, the material achieves ELIM 3.9 cal/cm² and EBT 4.6 cal/cm².

Antistatic properties: The T-shirt meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The antistatic fibre helps limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges on the surface of the garment.

Fabric: 895: Cantex Jersey AT – 60% modacrylic / 19% recycled cotton / 19% cotton / 2% antistatic fibre, 180 g/m². This is a lightweight single jersey fabric with inherent flame retardant properties. The fabric is PFAS-free.

Permanent flame retardant protection: The flame retardant properties of the fabric are inherent, meaning they are an integral part of the fibres and do not depend on a surface treatment. The protective properties therefore remain permanent during correct use and laundering.

Fabric performance: Cantex Jersey AT achieves an LOI of 26.0%. The fabric has also been tested for electrostatic properties according to EN 1149-3.

UV protection of the fabric: Cantex Jersey AT has achieved UPF 29 when tested according to EN 13758-1. This is a property of the tested fabric.

Wearer comfort: The 180 g/m² fabric is lightweight and soft, making the T-shirt well suited as a protective garment layer worn directly against the skin. The round neck and knitted cuffs provide a comfortable fit during work.

PFAS-free: The fabric used in the product is PFAS-free.

Recycled cotton: The fabric contains 19% recycled cotton, representing 50% of the total cotton content in the fabric.

Applications: The T-shirt is designed for work environments where protection against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc is required. It is particularly suitable as part of protective clothing systems for electricians, energy workers, electrical technicians, industrial workers, service technicians and maintenance personnel.

Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1, EN 61482-2 APC 1 and EN 1149-5. The product is also OEKO-TEX certified.

Care: Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Do not dry clean.
