Protection against flame and heat: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. Tera TX fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties that are an integral part of the fibres and do not depend on a surface treatment.
Electric arc protection: The product meets the requirements of EN 61482-2 at APC 1. In testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, the fabric achieves excellent protection values of ELIM 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT 8.7 cal/cm². The trousers therefore form part of a protective clothing system designed for work environments where exposure to the thermal hazards of electric arc may occur.
Antistatic properties: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric has also been tested according to EN 1149-3. The antistatic fibre helps limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
High visibility: The product is certified according to EN ISO 20471 Class 1, providing high visibility for work environments where additional visibility is required. The main fabric in fluorescent colours has also been tested according to EN ISO 20471.
Main fabric: 811: Tera TX – 45% modacrylic / 35% cotton / 18% polyamide / 2% antistatic fibre, 260 g/m². The fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties, a pleasant feel and good tear resistance despite its relatively low weight.
Reinforcement fabric: 804: HTFR Dobby – 39% modacrylic / 28% polyamide / 17% cotton / 15% aramid / 1% antistatic fibre, 295 g/m². This is an inherently flame retardant reinforcement fabric used in areas exposed to increased wear, including the tool pockets.
Tear resistance: Tera TX uses extra reinforced yarn to provide good tear resistance while maintaining a relatively low fabric weight.
UV protection: Tera TX fabric achieves UPF 50+ according to EN 13758-1.
Fabric performance: Tera TX achieves an LOI of 29.8%, confirming a high limiting oxygen index characteristic of a flame retardant fabric.
PFAS-free: Both Tera TX and HTFR Dobby reinforcement fabrics have a PFAS-free finish.
Tranemo Skinsafe: The trousers are part of the Tranemo Skinsafe™ multi-layer system designed to protect against injuries caused by flame, heat and electric arc.
Applications: The trousers are designed for craftsmen, electricians, electrical technicians, energy workers, maintenance personnel, service technicians and industrial workers. They are particularly suitable for work requiring the use of tools where protection against flame, heat, electric arc and static electricity is required at the same time.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1, EN 61482-2 APC 1, EN 1149-5 and EN ISO 20471 Class 1. The fabric has also been tested according to EN ISO 11611 Class 1, EN 1149-3, EN 13034, NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506. The product also meets the requirements of EN ISO 15797 for industrial laundering up to 50 washes.
Chemical protection: Tera TX fabric has been tested according to EN 13034. To maintain chemical protection properties, the protective clothing must be re-impregnated after washing.
Care: Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Do not dry clean.
