Swivel

APPLICATION 
The swivel enables the release of tension in AsXSn type stretched cables, especially when unwinding them from cable drums and other work on overhead lines up to 1 kV 

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE 
The swivel should be stored in a way that protects it from mechanical damage. Store the swivel in dry rooms, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. The swivel should be cleaned after each use. Protect it from contamination (especially sand). Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy contamination, clean with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly. Clean with polypropylene alcohol in an open space or in ventilated rooms. Preserve the swivel with penetrating greases.
