Insulated Wrench for Live-Line Work – Professional Tool for Power Engineering
This insulated wrench is designed for safe and precise operation on electrical equipment. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing technology, it ensures reliability even in demanding live working conditions.
The twelve-point working head is made of durable chrome vanadium (CrV) steel, providing high wear resistance and excellent torque transmission. The head is insulated with plastisol (PVC) using a dipping technology, forming a single-layer protective coating in orange.
The shaft is constructed from a fiberglass tube saturated with epoxy resin, featuring a circular profile with a diameter of 32 mm. It is fully filled with polyurethane foam, which enhances rigidity, durability, and user safety.
The wrench arm is made of lightweight and robust aluminum. Its insulation consists of two layers (white and orange), made of PVC using dipping technology. Each layer has a minimum thickness of 1 mm, ensuring a high level of electrical protection.
The wrench is suitable for use on live systems with alternating voltage up to 1000 V or direct voltage up to 1500 V. It is intended for use on switchgear equipment, particularly for servicing bolted connections of indoor screw-type disconnectors (isolators).
