It is made from inherently flame retardant Outback 250 fabric with a weight of 250 g/m², combining effective protection against flame and heat with a soft feel and good washing properties. The shirt also provides protection against the thermal hazards of electric arc at APC 1, achieving ELIM 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT 8.7 cal/cm².
Key features:
━ Inherently flame retardant Outback 250 fabric.
━ Fabric weight of 250 g/m².
━ Protection against flame and heat according to EN ISO 11612.
━ Electric arc protection at APC 1.
━ ELIM: 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT: 8.7 cal/cm².
━ Antistatic properties.
━ Protection during welding and allied processes.
━ Protection against limited exposure to liquid chemicals.
━ Non-metal construction.
━ Suitable for industrial laundering.
Functional construction: The shirt features a concealed front closure with plastic stud fasteners. Chest pockets with flaps provide convenient storage for small items and work essentials. The use of plastic components helps maintain the non-metal construction of the garment.
Protection against flame and heat: The shirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 E1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties, meaning that the protection is an integral characteristic of the fibres used and is not achieved solely through a surface treatment.
Electric arc protection: The product meets the requirements of EN 61482-2 at APC 1. The fabric achieves ELIM 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT 8.7 cal/cm² according to testing under EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019. The shirt is designed to be used as part of protective clothing in environments where exposure to the thermal hazards of electric arc may occur.
Antistatic properties: The shirt meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric has also been tested according to EN 1149-3. The antistatic fibre helps reduce the accumulation of electrostatic charges on the garment.
Welding protection: The fabric meets the requirements of EN ISO 11611 Class 1 A1+A2 for protective clothing used during welding and allied processes.
Chemical protection: The shirt meets the requirements of EN 13034 Type PB[6] for limited protection against liquid chemicals.
Outback 250 fabric: 862: Outback 250 – 65% viscose / 22% aramid / 12% polyamide / 1% antistatic fibre, 250 g/m². An inherently flame retardant fabric providing good flame protection combined with a soft feel and good washing properties.
Fabric performance: Outback 250 achieves an LOI of 28.9%. The fabric has been tested according to EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 11611, EN 61482-1-2, EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, EN 1149-3 and EN 13034.
Permanent flame retardant protection: The flame retardant properties of the fabric are inherent, meaning they are an integral characteristic of the fibres used. The flame protection is therefore not dependent solely on a surface finish.
Industrial laundering: The shirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 15797 for industrial laundering and finishing procedures. The product is suitable for 50 wash cycles.
Enhanced visibility: The fabric has been tested according to EN ISO 20471 for fluorescent colours. For applicable colour variants, the fabric may be used in enhanced visibility garments according to the requirements of the specific model.
Applications: TRANEMO 577486 is designed for electricians, electrical technicians, energy workers, industrial workers, service technicians, welders and other professionals who require protection against flame, heat, electric arc and static electricity.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 E1 F1, EN 61482-2 APC 1, EN 1149-5, EN ISO 11611 Class 1 A1+A2, EN 13034 Type PB[6] and EN ISO 15797. The fabric has also been tested according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019 and EN 1149-3.
