ARC-E40HT – Integrated Face Shield for SECRA Helmets
The ARC-E40HT integrated face shield is designed to protect the user's face against hazards occurring during work on electrical power equipment, particularly against the thermal effects of electric arc.
The face shield is made of a transparent polycarbonate visor with an external scratch-resistant coating and an internal anti-fog coating. The construction also includes a lower face section and chin protection, providing comprehensive face protection.

Application
The ARC-E40HT is particularly recommended as personal protective equipment (PPE) for live working and for carrying out switching operations.
The face shield provides full protection only when used together with compatible SECRA helmets: H058E00, H058E0, H058E1 and H058E2.

The face shield should be visually inspected before each use. Periodic inspection should be carried out once a year, unless otherwise specified by the live working organisation's instructions.
The ARC-E40HT face shield is designed to protect the user against:
- electric arc (Class 2 – Box Test, meaning a high level of protection against thermal energy),
- high-speed impacts,
- liquid drops and splashes,
- molten metal and hot material fragments,
- UV radiation (thanks to the filters).
- Key Point: This shield provides full protection only when used with a suitable SECRA helmet. The shield alone does not provide complete protection.
