Flame retardant T-shirt TRANEMO 590092, designed as FR underwear for demanding work environments. The T-shirt is made from soft Cantex JX fabric with a weight of 235 g/m², providing inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties. The T-shirt provides protection against the thermal hazards of electric arc at APC 1, achieving ELIM 7.5 cal/cm² and EBT 8.0 cal/cm². The non-metal construction, soft fabric and short sleeves make the product suitable as a comfortable base layer under protective workwear. The fabric is PFAS-free and 50% of the cotton content is recycled cotton.

Protection against flame and heat: The fabric meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1 B1 C1 F1 for protection against flame and heat. Cantex JX provides inherent flame retardant properties that are an integral part of the fibres and do not depend on a surface treatment.

Limited flame spread: The T-shirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 14116 Index 3 for limited flame spread.

Electric arc protection: The fabric has been tested according to EN 61482-1-2:2014 and achieves APC 1. In testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, it achieves ELIM 7.5 cal/cm² and EBT 8.0 cal/cm². The T-shirt can form part of a protective clothing system designed for work environments where exposure to the thermal hazards of electric arc may occur.

Antistatic properties: The product meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric has also been tested according to EN 1149-3. The antistatic fibre helps limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges on the garment surface.

Fabric: 920: Cantex JX – 60% modacrylic / 19% recycled cotton / 19% cotton / 2% antistatic fibre, 235 g/m². This is a soft tricot fabric with inherent flame retardant properties. The fabric is PFAS-free.

Permanent flame retardant protection: The flame retardant properties of the fabric are inherent, meaning they are an integral part of the fibres used. They are not achieved through a surface treatment and cannot be washed out during laundering.

Fabric performance: Cantex JX achieves an LOI of 30.1%, confirming the high resistance of the fabric to ignition and flame spread.

PFAS-free: The product is made from PFAS-free fabric.

Recycled cotton: The fabric contains 19% recycled cotton, representing 50% of the total cotton content in the fabric.

Wearer comfort: The soft 235 g/m² tricot fabric is designed for comfortable use as a base layer. The round neck and short sleeves provide freedom of movement and comfort during work.

Applications: The T-shirt is designed as FR underwear and a base layer for demanding work environments. It is particularly suitable for the energy sector, electrical industry, industrial work, maintenance, service work, electrical installations and other environments where protection against flame, heat, electric arc and static electricity is required.

Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 14116 Index 3 and EN 1149-5. The fabric has been tested according to EN ISO 11612 A1 B1 C1 F1, EN 61482-1-2:2014 APC 1, EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019 and EN 1149-3. The product is also OEKO-TEX certified.

Care: Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Do not dry clean.
