Flame retardant Flame Retardant Neck Protection made from lightweight and elastic Cantex Light Rib fabric with a weight of 230 g/m². The neck protection provides inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties and is designed for use in environments where there is a risk of exposure to flame, heat, electric arc or molten metal. The construction helps prevent molten metal from entering under the collar of the garment. The product has a non-metal construction and is made from PFAS-free fabric containing 50% recycled cotton.

Protection against flame and heat: The product meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protective clothing against heat and flame. The fabric provides permanent inherent flame retardant properties that cannot be washed out.
Electric arc protection: The neck protection is designed to provide protection against exposure to an electric arc. In testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, the Cantex Light Rib fabric achieves ELIM 5.1 cal/cm² and EBT 6.3 cal/cm². These values are fabric test results for the material used in the product.
Antistatic properties: The product meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric contains antistatic fibre to help limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
Protection against molten metal: The special construction of the neck protection helps prevent molten metal from entering under the collar of the garment. When pulled up, the product can also provide additional protection for the ears, hair and exposed skin around the head and neck.
Fabric: Cantex Light Rib – 56% modacrylic / 19% recycled cotton / 18% cotton / 5% elastic fibre / 2% antistatic fibre, 230 g/m². The fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties and is PFAS-free.
Versatile use: The product can be worn in several configurations – as neck protection, a neck gaiter, neckerchief or scarf, and when pulled up as a balaclava providing additional protection for the ears, hair and exposed skin. The elastic construction provides a close fit and allows the product to be used as part of a multi-layer protective clothing system.
PFAS-free: The fabric used in the product is PFAS-free.
Recycled cotton: The fabric contains 19% recycled cotton, representing 50% of the total cotton content in the fabric.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment and is OEKO-TEX certified.
Care: Wash at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
