Flame retardant ladies long sleeve T-shirt designed to be worn as a base layer underneath protective workwear. Made from soft knitted fabric containing merino wool and flame retardant viscose, providing high wearer comfort directly against the skin. The fabric provides permanent inherent flame retardant and antistatic properties that cannot be washed out. The T-shirt is designed as part of a multi-layer protective system against flame, heat and the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The garment is made from PFAS-free fabric.

Protection: The T-shirt meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 for protection against heat and flame and EN 61482-2, APC 1, for protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The garment also meets the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties.
Electric arc protection: Protection levels depend on the fabric quality used. For Merino RX fabric, the values are ELIM 5.3 cal/cm² and EBT 7.5 cal/cm², while for Merino JX fabric they are ELIM 10.0 cal/cm² and EBT 11.0 cal/cm². The finished garment meets APC 1 according to EN 61482-2.
Fabrics: The garment is available in two fabric qualities: Merino RX – 60% wool / 38% viscose / 2% antistatic fibre, 200 g/m² and Merino JX – 55% wool / 43% viscose / 2% antistatic fibre, 220 g/m². Both fabrics provide inherent flame retardant properties and are PFAS-free.
Base layer: The T-shirt is designed to be worn as the first layer of protective clothing. When protection against electric arc hazards is required, it should be used as part of a properly selected Tranemo Skinsafe multi-layer protective system.
Care: The T-shirt can be washed at temperatures up to 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at temperatures up to 110°C. Do not dry clean.
