TRANEMO Tera TX Flame Retardant Craftsman Stretch Trousers 632481 are professional protective trousers designed for demanding industrial, electrical, energy and craftsman work. The trousers combine inherently flame retardant Tera TX fabric with highly elastic stretch zones, providing significantly improved freedom of movement and comfort during work. The trousers provide protection against flame, heat, the thermal hazards of electric arc and static electricity, together with enhanced visibility. Electric arc protection is rated APC 1, with an ELIM of 8.1 cal/cm² and EBT of 8.7 cal/cm².
Key benefits:
━ Stretch construction providing exceptional freedom of movement during work.
━ Stretch crotch panel increasing comfort when walking, crouching, kneeling or working in demanding positions.
━ Elastic stretch panels providing an improved fit and greater freedom of movement.
━ Stretch back yoke increasing comfort during movement.
━ Shaped knees providing increased comfort when working in a kneeling position.
━ Kneepad pockets made from HTFR Dobby with stretch zones.
━ HTFR Dobby reinforcements in areas exposed to increased wear.
━ Non-metal construction.
Professional functionality: The trousers feature an extensive pocket system for convenient storage of tools and equipment required during work. Features include nail pockets with tool pockets, a cargo pocket with a stretch zone, mobile phone pocket, ruler pocket with tool pockets and knife holder. The cargo pocket also features a concealed D-ring.
Flame retardant protection in a stretch construction: The main Tera TX fabric provides inherent flame retardant properties, meaning that flame protection is an integral characteristic of the fibres used. The properties are not achieved through a surface treatment and cannot be washed out during laundering.
Electric arc protection: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 61482-2 at APC 1. Testing according to EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019 achieves an ELIM of 8.1 cal/cm² and an EBT of 8.7 cal/cm². The trousers can form part of a protective clothing system designed for work environments where exposure to the thermal hazards of electric arc may occur.
Enhanced visibility: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 20471 Class 2. Fluorescent materials increase wearer visibility in demanding working conditions, including construction sites, industrial facilities and work carried out near roads and machinery.
Antistatic properties: The trousers meet the requirements of EN 1149-5 for electrostatic properties. The fabric has also been tested according to EN 1149-3. The antistatic fibre helps limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
Welding protection: Tera TX fabric meets the requirements of EN ISO 11611 Class 1 for protective clothing used during welding and allied processes.
Chemical protection: The fabric has been tested according to EN 13034 for protection against limited amounts of liquid chemicals. Where chemical protection is required, the garment must be re-impregnated after washing.
Main Tera TX fabric: 811: Tera TX – 45% modacrylic / 35% cotton / 18% polyamide / 2% antistatic fibre, 260 g/m². The fabric is inherently flame retardant, has a pleasant feel and provides good tear resistance thanks to the use of extra reinforced yarn.
Stretch fabric: 852: FR Stretch – 78% aramid / 20% elastic fibre / 2% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². An inherently flame retardant, highly elastic fabric providing increased freedom of movement and comfort during demanding work. Stretch panels are strategically positioned to allow the trousers to follow the wearer's movements more naturally.
HTFR Dobby reinforcement fabric: 804: HTFR Dobby – 39% modacrylic / 28% polyamide / 17% cotton / 15% aramid / 1% antistatic fibre, 295 g/m². An inherently flame retardant reinforcement fabric used in areas exposed to increased wear, including kneepad pockets and the lower leg.
Tear resistance: Tera TX uses extra reinforced yarn to provide good tear resistance while maintaining a relatively low weight of the main fabric.
UV protection: Tera TX provides UPF 50+ according to EN 13758-1.
PFAS-free: The fabrics used feature a PFAS-free finish.
Industrial laundering: The trousers meet the requirements of EN ISO 15797 for industrial laundering and finishing procedures. The product is suitable for 50 industrial wash cycles.
Applications: TRANEMO 632481 trousers are designed for electricians, electrical technicians, energy workers, maintenance personnel, service technicians, installers, construction workers, industrial workers and professionals performing demanding craftsman tasks. They are particularly suitable where a combination of flame retardant protection, electric arc protection, stretch comfort and enhanced visibility is required.
Certification: The product is CE marked in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning personal protective equipment. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1, EN 61482-2 APC 1, EN 1149-5, EN ISO 20471 Class 2 and EN ISO 15797. The fabric has also been tested according to EN ISO 11611 Class 1, EN IEC 61482-1-1:2019, NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, EN 1149-3, EN 13034 and EN 13758-1 UPF 50+.
Care: Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry at low temperature. Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Do not dry clean.
