HUBIX B115.0601 Insulating Fuse Operating Stick is designed for the safe operation of DP-type fuse links during live working on distribution equipment up to 1 kV.
The stick enables the operation of fuse links in sizes NH/WT 000, 00, 1, 2 and 3. Its special design increases the distance between the operator and live components, enhancing safety during live working operations.
The BM handle is integrated with a tube made of glass fibre reinforced with epoxy resin. Inside the tube, there is a rotating insulating stick filled with polyurethane foam, which forms the main insulating component of the tool. The stick is also equipped with a hand stop to prevent the operator's hand from slipping.
The lower rotating section of the stick allows adjustment of the pin position, which is responsible for securing the fuse link firmly in the holder.

APPLICATION
Insulation sticks are designed for live working up to 10 kV using the "from a distance" method when operating medium-voltage indoor electrical devices. The sticks are used to carry out maintenance work using interchangeable tools installed on them.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store the stick in a case to protect it from mechanical damage. Store the stick in dry rooms, away from heat sources and in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The stick should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy dirt, it is recommended to use ASOREL for cleaning. It is also recommended to wipe the surface of the stick with a special cloth soaked in a silicone preparation intended for the regeneration of insulating elements of equipment used for live working.
