Socket designed with your safety in mind when working on Low Voltage Electrical Devices. Made using modern Hybrid Technology, which combines insulating material with working heads made of the highest quality tool steel. The insulating material that forms the basis for the construction of this tool is the patented, innovative INLLOYTM material. The dielectric properties of this material (0.005 mA leakage current at 10 kV), combined with enormous mechanical strength for plastics, 24 Nm for size 8, provide maximum safety when Live Working.
APPLICATION
The sockets are used for live work up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. The short sockets are used for loosening and tightening bolted connections on switchgear connecting boxes, cable lines and overhead lines. Works with bar drives, torque wrench, ratchet wrench, extensions bars and other tools that have ½" square connectors.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store sockets in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store sockets in a dry place away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Sockets should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, clean the wrenches with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
