Insulating Wedge
APPLICATION
The wedge is used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. It is destined to be separated individual wires of multi-core cables on cable lines.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store the wedge in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the wedge in dry areas away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The wedge should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If the wedge is very dirty, clean it with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
