Insulating "S" type Cover Installer
APPLICATION
The installers are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. The tool is used to put "S" type insulation covers on bare wires of overhead lines. The distance between the arms enables the installation of "S" type covers for wires with a cross-section of 16 - 95 mm2.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store the tool in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the tool in dry areas away from heat sources, in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The tool should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If the tool is very dirty, clean it with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
