Unscrewing gripper

APPLICATION

The gripper is used to unscrew line bridge terminals or BPS terminals on medium voltage overhead lines.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Store the gripper in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools, to avoid mechanical damage. Store the gripper in a dry area away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. The unscrewing gripper should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. If heavily soiled, clean the clamp with isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly. Perform cleaning with isopropyl alcohol 
in an open area or ventilated room. Use penetrating lubricants to maintain the rotary mechanism.
