APPLICATION 
BPS is designed to fill the space between insulators, making it difficult for birds to perch on structural elements of MV line poles, switches, overhead stations, etc. The uninsulated wires on these structures are routed above the pole head, which means that birds landing on them can come into direct contact with the live wires and the grounded metal support structures at the same time. BPS-A protects birds from lethal shock while preventing power grid failures. 

MOUNTING 
Installation of BPS-A should be done as follows: 
- place the BPS-A in the gripper mounted on the telescoping pole, 
- elevate BPS-A to line construction, 
- pre-seat the BPS-A on the pole structure (cross member, connector, etc. ), 
- tighten the clamp until a torque of 10 Nm is reached, which is confirmed by the characteristic click of the torque socket, 
- unscrew the clamp from the BPS-A clamp.
