APPLICATION

The insulating blanket is intended to isolate the workplace on MV overhead lines in flat or triangular configuration with standing insulators. The blanket is used in live works (max. 26.5 kV) by the method of " insulating gloves" with using the insulating aerial devices.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

The blankets should be stored in containers in a way that protects them against mechanical damage and deformation. Store the blankets in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect against sunlight. It is recommended to store at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C. Use warm water (up to 40 °C) with the addition of a mild detergent for cleaning. After cleaning, dry it thoroughly at a temperature not exceeding 65 °C. In case of heavy dirt, it is recommended to use ASOREL for cleaning. Cleaning with the preparation should be performed in an open space or in ventilated rooms. Use talcum powder to maintain the blankets.
